當鍋爐水位高于水位表最高安全水位刻度線時，即為鍋爐滿水。鍋爐滿水會降低蒸汽品質，破壞過熱器。因此當鍋爐出現滿水現象時，應該及時處理。
1、沖洗水位表，檢查水位表有無故障，確認滿水后，立即關閉給水閥，停止向鍋爐上水。啟用省煤器再循環管路，減弱燃燒，開啟排污閥及過熱器、蒸汽管道上的疏水閥，待水位恢復正常后，關閉排污閥及各疏水閥。
