電蒸汽鍋爐鍋爐應(yīng)以防垢為主，其水質(zhì)須因爐、因水制宜地進行處理，并達到國家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，以防結(jié)垢，這是積板的方法，但如果電蒸汽鍋爐結(jié)生了水垢，也應(yīng)及時清除，以免事故后患。

1、電蒸汽機械除垢。主要采用洗管器、刮刀、鏟刀等工具，有時還配合水力沖洗進行機械清除。此法比較簡單，成本低，但勞動強度大，除垢效果差，易損壞金屬表面，只適用于除垢面積小，且結(jié)構(gòu)簡單便于機械工具鏟到水垢的中小型蒸汽鍋爐。

需注意的是，如果有并列運行的電蒸汽鍋爐與電熱水鍋爐，不管采用何種方法，在進行除垢前都必須將與之相連接的所有汽、水管道可靠地隔絕，這樣做以提高安全系數(shù)。
