1、蒸汽鍋爐供汽前，應進行暖管。目的是使管道、閥門、各附蒸汽鍋爐件的溫度緩慢上升，不可驟熱，避免由于管道或閥門因溫差過大，產生應力而造成損壞。

2、暖管時，應打開分汽缸疏水器的旁通閥，逐漸開啟蒸汽主閥，使蒸汽預熱母管后再進入分汽缸，進行暖缸。

3、當母管和分汽缸內凝結水排除后，關閉疏水器旁通閥，觀察鍋爐壓力表與分汽缸上壓力表指示壓力是否相等，然后全部打開主汽閥及分汽缸的分支送汽閥向系統供汽。

4、送汽過程中應觀察水位計水位，注意補水并維持爐內汽壓。
